I know A&M is famous for that score but it was Misery first.

Game was much closer than the final score. OU got lucky to escape with a win and the refs were on some bullshite that day

I was a sophomore at Mizzou that year, and still hate Barry Switzer! Woody's Wagon sucked at Mizzou.

Oh yes the 77-0 score versus Missou, maybe we see it again this week….
Your are right the 77-0 score became famous versus TAMU because the score was reached about mid third quarter and that shot of the scoreboard in the third quarter went viral……

1966 - Midzou won 10 - 7.
That was the only season at OU for Jim Mackenzie.
We finished 6 - 4. Beat both Texass and Nebraska. We had lost 8 straight to Texass before that.
Mackenzie was named Big-8 coach of the year.
Barry Switzer was the OC.
Sadly, Mackenzie died of a heart attack the following April.
Chuck Fairbanks became OU's head coach.

How could Mizzou compete with the amount of under the table money OU was throwing at players back then. Lambert, Switzer, my lord, what a bunch of frickn cheating arses. Keep patting yourself on the back for how good the sooners were at cheating.
