Mea culpa (for those who don’t speak Latin, apologies)

In several posts I have cited the number of passing plays and running plays for Washington’s offense in 2023.

I am an idiot, a doofus, a moron, an imbecile and various non-politically correct labels that aren’t kosher these days. Because I looked at the wrong column in the stats at SportsReference.com.

Their actual ratio pass to run ratio was 1.47 to 1, 574 passing plays and 391 rushing plays.

Still not horribly, crazily lopsided. My statement that a competent running game is essential to DeBoer’s and Grubb’s offensive shtick working at its best stands.
