ETA: Just saw the Tulane-Memphis score from last night.
None of these Group of 6 teams appear to want to make the CFP.

Looks like Texas Tech is going to win the Big 12.

Penn St has the lead with 2:00 left and they’re about to punt it back to Indiana.

Indiana's offense is legit.

That’s some Dontea Smith shite. Unreal catch

For sure but people jerking them off for beating a 5 loss team is weird. Calling them a legit title contender despite this close win. Teams like Bama or UGA get bashed for this.
People did the same thing last year too with SMU or Bosie St and in years like 2017 with UCF. I get people loving the underdog schools but they simultaneously treat them with kiddie gloves when it comes to criticism but also put them in the same category as the OSU, Bama, and UGAs. They’re either one or the other. I think they’re in the latter btw

You don’t think that’s not a well coached team that’s 9-0. Idk if you watched them Hoosiers much but that team is one of the best teams in the country.

I literally said at the end I think they belong in the latter category of upper tier teams like OSU, Bama, UGA, etc.
I’m saying there’s a double standard with these up and coming teams. They still treat them with kiddie gloves with it comes to criticism. If any big name school just barely beat a 5 loss team people wouldn’t be praising their grit.
They’d be saying that team is a fraud. It happened last season when teams like Boise and SMU were beating 4-5 loss G6 teams by 1-2 scores and got no criticism for it. It happened in 2017 with UCF too.
What I’m saying is if you believe these teams are actually elite (I believe Indiana is) you should be critical of beating a bad team so closely like you would if this was OSU or Bama or A&M etc barely beating a 5 loss team

Ty Simpson literally did the exact same thing Mendoza did last week vs South Carolina. Why are people losing their minds over him?

Oh ok. I guess it doesn’t bother me what some analysts for espn, Fox etc. thinks. In fact I don’t even watch college gameday or halftime commentary at all.
These ppl will always have an agenda with certain teams. They build teams up just to tear them down. That’s been going on forever. In other words I don’t give a frick what let say what Booger McCunt thinks about Bama or any other team

Both of you are right, cinderella gets a pass and Indiana is a legit contender (this year)

I suppose this goes here, my son’s 6U team just won the superbowl. As the DC, we allowed zero points in the championship game. So yep, my football saturday is made haha

That "dead cat bounce" is a real thing for Auburn - totally different team today.
