I believe Auburn will take down Vanderbilt and I just don’t think that will be that big of an upset

But Mississippi State has been trying to sneak up on someone all year and Georgia might be that one that they get

Starkville is always a trap game. They took Tennessee and Texas both to overtime there.. no reason to think this game won’t be close.

I think Georgia does what they do and pull off a late game comeback win, but I agree it wouldn’t surprise me to see them go down.

Auburn on the other hand… who knows. Even with Vandy good this year, Auburn will have 30% of the fans (it’s typically 50-50 when we play up there). There is a reason why it’s the most expensive ticket in the nation this week, and it’s because Auburn has a huge alumni base in Nashville and they’ll pay whatever when Auburn plays up there.

With that said, if Durkin can motivate the Auburn offense to score some points, and we somehow win the game, he’ll be the front runner to be named the permanent head coach.

3 starters in UGA’s secondary are supposedly out tomorrow. They have the least # of sacks in conference, maybe State can light them up like we did against LSU a few years ago.

The point spread is much closer in this game. 6.5 in Columbia

I mean, I was pretty clear that I called it an upset opportunity

Upset, meaning that the team being upset is technically the better team and should win

I think looking at all the games this weekend Mississippi State just seems to be the greatest opportunity for us to witness one, I’m not predicting one just saying that if one happens, I think that’s the greatest opportunity

State can't stop the run and if they can connect on some passes, they will be able to score with UGA.

Remember, only Alabama and Georgia Tech (in 8 OT) scored more than State against Georgia last year. State just couldnt stop UGA. I figure tomorrow will be very similar to the Tennessee game - State will have the lead and then a big turnover changes momentum. I don't think State will surrender a 3 score 4th quarter lead tomorrow like the Texas game.

Which other game would present the greatest opportunity or most likely opportunity for an upset then?

Auburn at Vandy
UF at KY

both more likely. MSU has the 95th rushing D in the nation. They won't have the ball much.

It’s an opportunity for an upset, but it’s definitely not the greatest opportunity this weekend
