“It’s not a great job if you’re not even the best or biggest or most important program in your own state. Like, sorry I’m not sorry. That’s what it is. And, Auburn has a little brother complex. They just do. They’re not Alabama, and it’s not even close. And yet, they want to be Alabama. So, they feel like their expectations, and they operate—from a booster perspective and a program perspective— as if, ‘Well, our expectations are that we’re Alabama.’ But you’re not.”

And yet “Little Brother” Auburn has more national championships than Klatt’s own powerhouse Colorado. The “big brother” in the state that cant even fill its 50k seat stadium. Must suck for your own Alma Mater to be a shitty job in comparison to “Little Brother”.

To be fair, Colorado students don’t even expect big results from their football team

Which has shite to do with frick about the topic at hand, which is Auburn being Alabama's little brother. And number 2 in the State of Alabama in a race of 2.

Maybe it’s time for Auburn to move to Big 12.

I'd love to rip Auburn on this topic, but I'll be honest.

It seems like a great job to me, people just aren't looking at it right. In reality, it could be one of the highest paying jobs in all of football. Certainly in the state.

Sure, technically Alabama paid Saban way more per year, however, Saban coached every year to earn it. If you go to Auburn, you only need to coach a few years before getting fired, then you get the entire sum from the bailout.

So in the end, you get paid for many seasons while only coaching a few if you coach at Auburn. And you don't even need to try really, just go play golf or do whatever you want and show up occasionally.

If they hired Woodward for AD, it would definitely be the best job in college football.

It's hard to admit, but it's true.

The state argument is just stupid considering Auburn's success and resources. They have a nearly 90k stadium that they can fill and a lot of money. They have Nattys and SEC titles. Do they have the same success as Bama? No, but they certainly have had more success than most "Flagship" schools in other states.

It's as dumb as people saying the same thing about A&M as they have sold out the season again with the largest stadium in the SEC.

That would make sense for most fans and programs, but not for Auburn. Their entire existence is Alabama. Even Barkley has called AU out for this several times.
