Every Auburn coach since 1975 has been fired.

Isn't this true for just about everyone?

Exactly.

There are only a few SEC coaches that have retired instead of being fired. Stalling and Saban at Bama. Spurrier at USCe in the middle of theor season which is worse than a firing. Dye at Auburn which negates the whole premise of the OP. Spurrier went to the NFL from UF and Meyer faked his heart issues to get out of the SEC.

That's all I can really think of off the top of my head.

Before my time, but wasn't Stallings "forced" to retire?

Alabama not-fired:
Saban (retired)
Francione (left for A&M)
Stallings (retired)
Perkins (left for Tampa Bay)
Bryant (retired)

Bryant did joke that he was firing himself as the Bama AD if you want to count that, though

Technically Bill Curry wasn’t fired. He left for Kentucky because after winning the SEC Championship he thought he deserved a better contract and extension.

Alabama told him he had a contract and they’d honor it.. so he left

No, he understood the job was going to become a lot more difficult with the sanctions and he just didn't have it in him (understandably so) to deal with it

He never coached a down, so not really.

But you can include him if you want - 0-0 in his final month.
