Auburn in Gus Malzahn's three worst seasons as head coach (the only seasons they finished unranked):

21-15 overall
11-15 in the SEC
2 bowl wins

Auburn in the 4 and 2/3 seasons since firing Gus:

When they hired Harsin it destroyed it. Gus’ coaching was looking rough the last couple years.

They’ll screw up this hire too

Gus had ran his course but firing him because of the COVID season was an all time questionable move - especially given his success against Saban and Alabama when everyone else couldn’t beat Saban and Bama.
