Advice from my experience:

If you have multiple credit cards, you can use each one to sign up for a free trial of Fubo, then cancel before the trial ends. Once you’ve used all your cards, you can use your wife’s cards the same way.

When you run out of cards, you can grab a day pass for Sling Orange + Sports for $6. That seems the best the best paid option right now, if you only use tv for college football like me.

I wouldn’t bother with Hulu or ESPN while this situation is ongoing. Their greed shouldn’t be rewarded.

There are also IPTV options, but in my experience, most lag during live games. Some streaming sites like StreamEast exist, but they can have issues too.

Others are welcome to chime in with what they’ve tried—I’m sure there are IPTV providers and streaming sites I haven’t explored.

Sling is the best. I started shopping and trying a month ago when they started their “renegotiation” BS. frick Google and frick Disney. Sing is holding firm ATM and they hate that!

Sling will be the next one they attack.

Fubo is glitched out from all the new traffic and won’t let me subscribe. Total disaster

Just gives error message when you get to the last step

I’m pretty much sick of all of it TBH and the constant warring factions that deprive of us of watching a game. Haven’t watched a lick of the World Series. But I kind of like listening to them on radio while hunting or doing other productive things outdoors. If I want to do the visual thing really really bad then I’ll go to the local sports bar.

Fubo tv can rot in hell. I now have my credit card number, expiration and stupid code memorized from attempting to subscribe with them so many time unsuccessfully.

Starting getting the shakes as noon approached without access to college football. I need to get clean one day like you

For now, I went with the espn/fox1 bundle. $39.99 a month

If it matters to anyone, the espn unlimited app has multi game boxes just like youtubetv did

And the f’n picture is fantastic. I think its in that 401K or whatever

Actually, maybe even more multi view options than youtubetv had. And two game boxes

Takes a little longer to change channels though which is annoying

Otherwise, this is some pretty high cotton right here

That sounds pretty good TBH. It has become so frustrating trying to figure it all out not to mention the trash I have to deal with when something is on Fox Sports. I’m having to twist my antenna and hold my mouth right and at some point it just isn’t worth it anymore.

Have you tried duct tapping some extra coat hangers to it? That’s what the antenna purists were discussing on here yesterday

Fubo set up, watching Vandy on ABC, no HD, which sucks on a really big TV. Disney so fricking cheap. I guess they know they are about to add millions of subscribers all at once and don't want to crash their shite.

ETA- coming through in HD now. They fixed the glitch.

I got the ESPN $29.99 package this morning, and I already strongly dislike it.

Can't pause or rewind. Can't DVR it. Trying to watch the Texas/Vandy game on my laptop right now and it's frozen.

That said, the executive in charge of YouTubeTV has to be a straight dumbass. Thinking that enough people will still pay 92 dollars a month during the middle of football season with no ESPN and ABC was never going to happen. You can't defeat Disney.

YouTube isn't the enemy here.

Disney is.

Why?

Google just blew earnings out of the water and don’t have to spend a dime other than their platform. Imagine the cost of Gameday and SEC Nation every weekend plus all of the crews all over the place….and the contracts to get these games.

Google has the money.

Because Disney is intentionally sabatoging negotiations with unrealistic demands to drive people to purchase their bundle, all whilst screwing YTTV/Google in the process.

Good on Google for holding the line(for now).and not caving to those greedy bastards.

Sympathy for the devil? Far out

I would need 500 showers to ever feel clean again if such words ever fell from my mouth

YTTV is the shite head in this one imo. They’re trying to cross out all the other streamers. They also want it cheaper while continuing to raise THEIR prices. frick em’ honestly.

You do realize they have competing products right?

It would be like Honda getting pissy because they used Toyota parts and Toyota raised their prices.

Google has no leverage in this as they’re depending on a competitor’s work product.

It felt really good to cancel youtubetv. Google is a legit demonic force hurting humanity.

It’ll feel good to cancel this evil Disney thing too in January after the seasons over

it’s probably worth a shot at this point. FWIW I’m able to watch today with DirectTV but there have been issues with it in the past as well.
