To many possible candidates getting new deals to stay. Ita just a numbers game really its down to summeral if a team goes that route or kiffin, drink or franklin for the bigger jobs.

Outlier is stinking Lincoln Riley who hasn't won a thing so the shine might be coming off of him.

Probably see a ton of players transfer out/ declare for the draft.

Who makes since for mizzou or how will they frick it up. Remember how the last search went and almost went horribly wrong until fans started screaming frick no to the first list of names that came out

Eli and Lane are both staying where they're at. Very confident in that.

Dumb. Eli is already in the top 11 coaching getting paid in the country. If Mizzou needs to pay up to keep, they will.

There is a very real chance Mizzou finishes 8-4 or 7-5. We’re down a kicker, using our 3rd string qb, and have a couple of tough opponents ahead.

If we finish 7-5 it means we finished 1-5 in the second half of the season.

Will Mizzou fans be as upset to lose Drink if that happens?

I hope he stays but it’s not the end of the world.

I’d go after Silverman.

Here is the thing. I love Eli, he is a great coach and I am proud to have him as Mizzou's coach. He checks A LOT of boxes, but there are some things that he has not been great at, a) finding/developing a solid QB. The big name schools like a Florida and LSU will not be no where near as paitent with him as Mizzou has. So, if he thinks he can do better at one of those places ... by all means.

Do I need to give you guys a pep talk? You’re Missouri, the whole m-i-z z-o-u thing. Have some pride! You take care of your man. You don’t let any outsiders get their grubby hands on him. Give him a contract extension, as much as he wants. Lock Drink down. When Scott Stricklin comes calling, you tell him Eli already has an extension and he’s going nowhere.

You deserve this. You are worth it. I believe in you!

I know it's business, but I've never liked when coaches hop around to other teams in conference.

It’s all about the location.

Kansas is such an amazing place to coach, none of our last 8 coaches wanted to leave for other programs. We had to fire them all because they wouldn’t leave.
