Never in history have both a very high buyout Head Football Coach with a winning record for the season so far and a high buyout AD who has hired national championship coaches in several sports both been fired within a few days as a result of losing a midseason game to a team that is not even a rival.

This has got to be the biggest sports story of the last several years, and sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction.

Do you realize how ridiculous this sounds to an LSU fan after hearing "no one cares about LSU" on this board over and over and over?

It isn’t a huge story because it is LSU. It’s a huge story because of the absurdity of the whole thing. No University president, no AD, no HC, Gov. Bumblefrick running loose.

Tennessee fans are sweating that you might break our record for biggest shite show of a coaching search. You guys have come roaring out of the gate, remains to be seen if you can keep this pace though. If you do, our record will fall pretty quickly.

It is not a big story. It is just an insult. And an asinine thing for any head coach, even an interim one, to say.

What LSU is experiencing is in no way, shape or form in any way comparable to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. None. Zip. Zilch.

He seems to have given it some thought before hand. That is concerning. The sound effects he added just made it even more out of touch.

If Kirby Smart, Kalen Deboer, Josh Heupel or Nick Saban had done it LSU fans would be going nuclear.

Good thing Alabama absolutely won't lose to this team at home.

That'd be embarrassing.

Exactly. Sort of akin to pigs flying before Bama would ever lose at home to a subpar LSU football team.

That was the first time in 25 years that I left early. Not because we were getting blown out. It was because those Aggie weirdo’s were creeping me the f out. Seriously what the hell is wrong with y’all. Grown men should never dress and act the way y’all do.

In the extremely unlikely event that is true…

Not everyone is interested in attending unscheduled Pride events in their own home.

Yeah, well, if Aggie is so gay, you guys should’ve seen that coming and stayed home, no?

I wish I would have taken pictures. Cowboy hat, button up shirt with sleeves cut off, short cut off jeans with cowboy boots. Multiple dudes dressed like that. Not to mention the weird arse holding each other swaying back and forth.

If LSU wins the next 30 in a row they will even the series up at .500. That seems like a tall task since LSU has only won 27 games all time, even when you include their 1895 and 1902 wins. I bet LSU fans then were much like those now, when LSU took that initial 2-0 series lead they celebrated the demise of Alabama football.

Sadly Brian Kelly will likely never have another chance to win game number two against Alabama.

For the record, I don't think what's going on is a big deal at all and I think LSU is gonna be fine.

I've been through much worse.

I'm glad you agree with my take that LSU has absolutely no shot.

I'm old enough to remember a time when LDU fans claimed Alabama had lost their minds for firing a coach with a 1-9 record vs our main rivals after coming off his third losing season in four years...

How the tables have turned and all that.

Woodward buyout is $6.8 million. He's gonna be ok.
