That's what Disney is counting on which is why they putting the screws to Google/YouTube TV.
I despise Disney's in your face liberal progressive agenda but unfortunately they are the parent company of ESPN/ABC where most of the SEC games are televised.
I will look hard for other alternatives before I give Disney any money.

I'm calling some bars in Huntsville, Al., this afternoon to find out who they stream the games from.

Just use StreamEast or something. You won't be giving any money to these people.

We just switched from Hulu tv to YouTube tv at the start of the season. This sucks. Thankfully I think we have Disney plus which includes espn plus so I think I may be able to watch that way.

Seems anti-trusty. They own hulu, a direct competitor of yttv. Using their ESPN portfolio to frick a competitor out of business, while libertarians may see no problem with it, just seems sort of anti-trusty.

YouTube TV

Is this just for YouTube TV or will it affect the guys in Indonesia who live stream the broadcast for free on their YouTube channel?

Too bad they got rid of the best FTC chair in the last century.

Corporate class rules us all sadly.

I guess I'm doing the ESPN Unlimited Monthly thing for $29.99 and ordering an antennae off of Amazon.

Will miss the YouTubeTV build your own MultiView. The good news is that I won't be able to hate watch cable news anymore, which has been on my to-do list.

------------------------------

Does the ESPN Unlimited Monthly app on a Roku TV allow you to watch games on ABC also?

That's a great question about the new ESPN streaming services!

The ESPN Unlimited Monthly subscription, which is available on devices like the Roku TV, does include access to "ESPN on ABC" content.

This means you can watch games and events that are branded as ESPN on ABC telecasts (like certain college football games, NBA games, or Monday Night Football).

What it does include: All live games and content that are simulcast or designated as "ESPN on ABC".

AI chatbot also just told me that a "Hi-VHF element" antennae is the best kind of antennae to buy if you live further out in the boonies and has the best chance of picking up CBS, NBC and FOX.

In Scotland at the moment, the plan is to try and watch it using VPN and espn.com app. Fingers crossed.

I bought an old school rotational antennae with a booster for about 50 bucks on Amazon, mounted it on top of the hill my Lair is built into here in the Holler.....

hit a button and it spins like a state of the art 1978 model, which actually matters if you are 20-30 miles out. you rotate until it hits the repeater and there you go.

I get about 55 channels that way. I am over contract disputes and hate Disney. I make sure to mute all commercials so they don't gain a dime from me for advertisers.

I do believe this is antitrust and a special prosecutor needs to be appointed to end this practice.

Hulu Live is about the same as YouTube tv and one of the main reasons I got it was the tie to ESPN through Disney. You could see this coming and frankly if I’m ESPN and carry that kind of clout I’d charge for access too.

Why?

ESPN pays a boatload for all of these rights so why can’t they control what they make to offer their programming?

Contract negotiations need to happen in the off-season, not fricking consumers like this. This shite happens every fricking year with either Comcast, ATT, now YouTube TV, it's bullshite.
