Why do LSU Baseball fans...

..get so offended / jealous when another college baseball program is talked about in any capacity. This reared its head with the Tennessee coach going to SF yesterday.
If there was a story about some JUCO baseball coach in Iowa having a 15 inch pecker, LSU fans would be in the comments talking about their coaches hawg or some old players hawg and how it's larger.
Just an observation. Like a vast majority of the United States, I don't really care about college baseball. I know LSU has a rich baseball history, so its weird that they're so insecure about it.

I'm giving LSU their flowers in the OP. I'm just trying to understand the inferiority complex. Alabama football fans aren't like that. Georgia football fans are close, but they're new money. LSU baseball is a blueblood. It makes no sense to me.

IS LSU a blueblood in baseball? They weren't much of anything before Skip, but I guess that has been 40 years now. I would say they are the premier baseball program in the country, yes. How long do you need to be successful before nouveau riche becomes old money?

Why did you have to make this about small cocks?

I don’t care who you are- every team needs a play like this to get their plums riled up for a baseball game

It’s still not much of anything, but it didn’t start in 1990

Baseball is basically a club sport. It gets little attention other than a few days in the summer. Niche sport using softball bats.

They've been good for some time. I'm not well-versed on college baseball history, so maybe "blueblood" was an erroneous title on my part. Maybe that's where insecurity stems from? The baseball program is new money like the football program? I doubt anyone answers me in earnest, but I am really curious.

LSU is the gold standard.

Because they're the "Alabama" of college baseball. I know they hate to hear that but they are, they think they're the greatest baseball program of all time and no one else needs to be talked about or discussed, regardless of what others accomplish.
But I have to say, I'm a baseball fan so I enjoy watching LSU play and all the other SEC teams during baseball. Just wish my Tide could field a championship baseball team.
