7-5 and maybe a loss to Auburn & South Carolina to make it 6-6 or even 5-7.

Which 5-7 would be a huge leap forward for Lane Kiffin. He has never won 5 games in a 16 game season before.

Alahunter:

I'm thinking 5-7 also.

However, my heart is saying 0-12....

Don't discount Vandy, Bobby Johnson is a fantastic coach. I see nothing in Kiffin's past that leads me to believe he can pull an upset.

Congrats to Mississippi State, there is a new bottom dweller in the league!

Am I wrong or is Paul Johnson the coach at Ga Tech, not Vandy?

You would be correct. Vandys coach is Bobby Johnson. I also do not believe TN will beat Vandy. I see TN winning 5 games at most and more than likely 4.

I think Kiffen will get them moving ahead and they will have a better season than expected. Other school fans need to stop sulking

You people have far too much faith in the bRuins.

One year removed from being shellacked 59-0 in Provo?

Not so sure on that one.

UCLA beat them last year and they sucked something serious last year.

UT will be a little better, and they'll be at home. I'm all for PAC 10 teams beating SEC teams normally, but I really can't stand ucla.

Vandy always starts off hot, but by they time they play Tennessee late in the year next season, they'll suck once again.

That was a fluky, bullshite game. Some of the worst offensive coaching I've ever seen on UTs part. UT is significantly more talented and it's at Knoxville this year. Kevin Craft is still playing QB for UCLA, who throws as many pick 6's as Jarrett Lee

i know craft was close to the Lee record. I have no reason to believe lane will have a better o though. also his dad could die during a game and that would just frick the vols all up

Well,as someone who grew up pulling for the Commodores,I'd love to see it. With that said Vanderbilt was favored for the first time vs UT since '84,for the first time since the 1988 game had a majority of the crowd on their side, but did not come out motivated to play Tennessee according to the team.

How can you be so smart and football stupid all in one ?

Give the devil his due. Tennessee is one of the few,if not only major college to never have 8 losses in its history. Some team probably will take them to the woodshed and put a real ugly one on them, but then they probably will pull an upset.

6-6 or 7-5.
