how big of an idiot must he feel like now?

if he hadnt gone for that bigger bag we threw at him, he’d be on a currently undefeated team likely headed to the CFP and tons of exposure on the sports’ biggest stage, no doubt with gaudy statistics to show for it

instead he’s averaging 6 touches a game and hasn’t scored a TD since Ball State in week 2

hope it was worth it

Life is about risk. He may have needed money.

Well, it doesn't always work out but I appreciate him giving Auburn a try

I mentioned today how his ga tech highlights were full of explosive plays and here we are with zero through 7 games. Our coaches are idiots and our QB sucks

That run against Georgia, last year, was electric. I was fricking stoked about him becoming a Tiger.

If he transfered here because he felt like we had a better chance of making the playoff, I feel bad for him.

Probably not much of one.

Extra $50K (minimum) at 20 years old in return for missing out on maximum a crappy ACC Championship?

NFL will be able to evaluate on his entire career and on combine stuff.

If men like Eric Singleton and Cam Coleman Bo Nix and Jarrett Stidham and so on regret attending Auburn then we are forever not "that close"

Our offense has to be the happenings

He doesn’t care. Welcome to players being paid. Go watch some of our players interviews from this past weekend. They care about getting paid. Auburn either recruited wrong for their philosophy or the don’t know how to motivate a former hood rat that is now making multi $100M per year.

We used to dream of landing five star recruits and we’ve gotten a ton of them the past 6 years with nothing to show for it.

It’s baffling why we have to suck so bad. It’s football. It’s not hard. Get the athletes and coach them up. Call some normal plays. Win. It’s really not that complicated.

Y’all think Thompson and Hoover (of the yesteryears) were outsmarting everyone on the field in Alabama high school ball? They just had the better players and taught them how to play football. And then called plays that put them in position to play football. Then they won a lot of games.

It’s not hard.

Touches? He had 48 receptions his first year and 56 his second. He currently has 36 receptions with 5 freaking games left. If he gets 3 rec a game the last part of the season which looks likely, he'll pretty much have just as many opportunities at Auburn. NOW HERE'S THE DIFFERENCE.... WE SUCK! it's not just touches it's about HOW we use our talent. How many deep shots has this guy even gotten dude??? 3-4? Maybe? GT got him not only involved, but they found ways to allow him to make huge plays. This dude had a great game against Georgia last year, but in our offense he just catches passes and has to make 3 people miss to POSSIBLY get loose.

Lot of his touches are the extended handoff, Ryan Davis variety. We need to get him out there running like Tyreek Hill.

That's what I'm saying. We suck at getting people in positions to make plays. We also have a QB who can't see the field in the rare times he has a clean pocket. This might be blasphemy but at this point...... He's worse than Thorne in every area except arm strength and ints.
