Historically, Alabama is no better than any other SEC team

Without Pollard, Kelley, Scott, Wade, Thomas, Bryant, Stallings, Kines, Saban, and a handful of other winning coaches, Alabama is just another Florida or Arkansas or other long time losers.
I'm not one of those arrogant fans of Alabama who believes that Bama has been preordained for unquestionable and never-ending glory on the gridiron.
Without all their great coaches and the slew of great players that Alabama has had for the last 133 years, they are pure shite like most SEC teams.

Which is why they post-ordained retroclaimed championships?
When will this thread make sense, Queen?

Without being the greatest cheaters in the history of the world, except for Goldman Sachs, none of those coaches matter .

Let's take LSU as an example of a shitty team. For most of their history, they didn't care about football at all.
They were known as losers and their fans were renowned for barely being able to speak English and smelling like putrid gumbo and corndogs.
There was no dedication from the school, the team, the fans, etc... to excellence because being drunk T-Bob like caricatures of humans was more important than football.
That's all I'm saying. Really, I'm not complimenting Alabama at all as so many fanatical Alabama zealots do.
If Alabama had simply not gave a damn about football or winning or having good coaches and good players decade after decade after decade, they would be just like LSU or other shite teams and fanbases.
Alabama is nothing special.

Not sure the purpose of posting a trolling post for comments.
It's generally recognized that Alabama is historically the #1 program in the sport all-time.

It's probably altie and he's being sarcastic.

The hottest topic on the board, at the moment, is a thread by an LSU fan about whether Alabama or Tennessee would be better to live in.
Clearly, many here are bereft of ideas and have nothing to talk about relating to football, so, why not have a thread like this?

Too bad he didn't. He was a major contributor to Alabama's current 1008 all-time wins.

So without great players and great coaches, alabama wouldn’t have won as many games.
Shocking.
Shocking.

I'm confused. Are you saying Alabama was successful because nobody else cared about football?

Right. Take away all the wins, all the bowl games, all the NC's, and all of the Hall of Fame coaches and Alabama is just another cowshit team like auburn or another chickenshit team like South Carolina.
When Alabama fans get too haughty and proud, sometimes they need to be reminded of this. No one likes a braggart.

No one else in the SEC.
Alabama had competition throughout time, stat-wise, with teams like Michigan, Notre Dame, USC, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Penn State in the total wins category.
FFS, Georgia still hasn't even broken the 900 victories threshold yet. It's pitiful, really.
Meanwhile, Michigan and Alabama are in an almost dead heat race for most wins. Michigan is currently at 1015 wins and Alabama has 1008.
Georgia hasn't even overcome teams like Yale and Harvard in the win category yet. Those two teams haven't won more than 3 games a year since the 1920's.

So, what you are implying is that if other SEC teams had cared, Alabama would not have made it out of the SEC to win a lot of those Championships? Seems like an odd take, but being an Alabama fan, I guess you would know this better than us.

You realize that Yale has a whole lot more National Championships than Alabama and Harvard has almost as many, right?

Correct. If any good teams, other than Alabama, had ever been members of the Southeastern Conference, Alabama would not have as many wins as they have.
Alabama can certainly trace a portion of their success to the whole conference being nobodies for a very long time, even up to current times.
So, once again, Alabama fans have nothing to be proud of, really. It's always been like a giant stomping on the heads of little nasty, ugly midgets.

Since we can infer these things, then Alabama should give roughly half of their titles back. And, can you imagine how embarrassing it must be for Alabama in the years they did not win a championship...or at the very least an SEC Championship?
I would say that not only should Alabama fans not be proud they have much to be embarrassed about. And how about the last 5 years or so? Do other teams care now, or should Alabama definitely be embarrassed?

Two is a whole lot more? Yale has two more NC's than Alabama, according to the NCAA listings of consensus selectors. Harvard is not even in the conversation, with only eight, so you have no idea what you are talking about.
Why would you though, you are a Georgia fan. If you are going to shite talk, at least sling it right.
Yale vs. Alabama
