Do you remember Nick Saban coached in the big ten at MSU and sucked? Went 0-3 in bowls and then worked in the SEC and became a legend. Fickell can be the next Saban with a little patience

I would not put him on top of the list but would not be angry if we made the hire. Disappointed, but not angry.

Why? They already have a 2-4 coach. Why pay Napier's buyout just to get another one?

Nick Saban did not “suck” at MichSt… not sure where you’re getting that from. He was building that program, in a much different era.
Fickell is done at major jobs. He won’t get another one. It’s been a disaster at Wisconsin.

Fickell would not be a bad hire for anybody but there was a lot of smoke last time he moved that he would not leave the north/Big10 footprint. Not sure why or if true.
