When Auburn go screwed over in Norman, I thought I’d never see anything like it again.

Then, just two weeks later the SEC not only did it again, they did it in Jordan-Hare… repeatedly.

We all saw it, thankfully it didn’t turn ugly with stuff being thrown on the field as has happened at other venues. But it did appear that place was ready to riot. Even the AD was losing his shite on the white hat ad they walked off the field.

But what if they do it again this weekend? Let’s not pretend that it’s outside the realm of possibility, after all it’s happened in two of the last three Auburn games. I’m thinking things could get ugly in a hurry.

You should leave the conference.

Auburn fans are the biggest pussies ever. Losers make excuses. The refs called a blind side block on Georgia erasing a sure touchdown. Your team responded by shitting their pants. No conspiracy is needed for Auburn to suck - you guys are doing great all by yourself.

I love dim witted Bama fans running their cock suckers an acting like thy would not be burning down buildings if what happened to Auburn happened to them. Shut the frick up, boy. Everyone knows you’re basing your opinion on nothing more than the fact you pull for the team in Tuscaloosa County and not the one in Lee County.

You’re a pussy who makes excuses. The team you root for lost and is in the midst of a terrible run. Get over it. Go build a model of the goal line play you lame arse geek.

You’re a pussy who can’t read. No one is making any excuse. I’m asking a question about what will follow if the refs shite the bed again as they’ve done twice now in spectacular fashion.

Either answer the question or go back to humping your sister.

Sorry man but there's not shite anyone could do about it except: have a tantrum and fall to pieces -- OR -- accept it as part of the game and go play the next down or game or whatever.

Look up The Serenity Prayer, brother

Considering every team that has been screwed every year by bad calls and nothing happens.

It's 100% certain you know what will happen..
Nothing

My point is it’s happened multiple times in recent years where a single bad call triggered the crowd at multiple places. Considering what the atmosphere was like Saturday night in Auburn and as on edge as the fanbase is, odds are good that if something similar happens this Saturday, it could get ugly.

Every single game there will be calls that don’t go your way. If you are a mature adult, before you get too upset you will consider all of the calls that did go your way, and make an honest assessment of the balance. Next, you will remind yourself that the officials are human and make mistakes, and that conspiracy theories are typically favored by people who can’t accept a painful or unsatisfying reality (for example, maybe their team just isn’t that good). Lastly, you will remind yourself that it is just a football game. It’s meant to be fun and entertaining and to facilitate comradery and fellowship among the fanbase. Celebrate when you win. Talk trash to your rivals. If you find yourself thinking about hiring a lawyer because of a penalty, take several steps back.

If you are a parent, think about the example you are setting for your children. Do you want them to whine and cry and make excuses every time things don’t go their way? Do you want them to see you act like a petulant child and model their behavior after you? Or should you teach them to “meet with triumph and disaster, and treat those two imposters just the same”?

Real possibilities… like crying fans on a message board rallying others to make the SEC overhaul officiating on your behalf?

All that is well and good and I agree. But we’re talking about crowds of almost 90,000 people. Many of them neither parents, nor mature. Many of them quite inebriated. As I posted for example above, crowds at three different SEC schools have crossed the line in just the past 5 seasons.

Let’s stop pretending this is about Auburn whining. This sort of thing has already happened at other schools for far less than what Auburn fans have seen this season.

It’s a bad look for the conference. And if it continues, it will only get worse. And having a riot at another SEC game will only further make the conference look bad. Some of you see this as a chance to shite on Auburn. I’m sure that’s very satisfying. But it’s shortsighted. To the rest of the country, the SEC looks inept at best or corrupt at worst. The credibility of the conference has taken a big black eye.

I disagree. You are taking this personally because it is Auburn. If the same calls were made against Alabama or Texas it would be amusing to you and nothing more. Fans should never riot or go crazy because of bad calls. If they do so the university should be punished. End of story.

That’s where you’re wrong and showing your own pettiness along with projecting what you are actually doing. You find what has happened to Auburn amusing while ignoring the fact it makes the SEC as a conference look like a bad joke. You hate Auburn more than you love th SEC and college football as a whole. You’re small and you’re stupid. That’s why you can’t see what’s happening as something overall bad for the conference. And you’re far from alone.

You should get off the internet and try to explain what you are thinking to a non Auburn fan and see how long it takes for them to laugh you out of the room. You have let a few controversial calls in a college football game overly upset you. You shouldn’t take out your anger and frustration on people who are behaving more maturely and rationally. This too shall pass.
