Kid of crazy to think that they have only played 1 road game to date, and will have to finish the season with 4 games out of 6 on the road with 3 of those to ranked teams.

These 3 are also their 3 permanent rivals.
Since 2000, A&M is 3-14 at those venues.
0-7 in Baton Rouge
1-3 in Columbia
2-4 in Austin (last game 2010)

I believe Mizzou hasn’t played a single game away from home, which is even crazier.
The back half of the schedule is rough, a month of away games is gonna be a tough stretch.

Only problem is none of that stuff has happened to us…
Heisman talk? No…
Early “setback”? No…
This sounds like another Texas team.

Whoever created the SEC schedule needs to be fired. A bunch of teams with long stretches of road and home games. Florida got totally screwed with their schedule.

It really shouldn't be that complicated.
September
1 game (home or away)
2 games (1 home, 1 away)
3 games (at least 1 of each)
October
3 SEC games (at least 1 of each balanced with September)
4 SEC games (2 home, 2 away)
5 SEC games (at least 2 of each balanced with September)
November
3 SEC games (at least 1 of each balanced with Sept + October)
4 SEC games (2 home, 2 away)
5 SEC games (at least 2 of each balanced with Sept + October)
Texas example
September (0)
October (4)
1 neutral
1 home
1 away
1 home or away
they gave us 3 away games + 1 neutral
November (4)
2 home
2 away
we got 3 home, 1 away
Result:
9/20 last game at DKR
11/1 next game at DKR
Maybe it's harder than it appears, but whatever.. It is what it is..
