He's been clutch all season. In case anyone hasn't been keeping up, he's got 6 passing TDs, 6 rushing TDs, only 1 int the whole season and he's ranked #3 in the nation on ESPN's QBR ranking.

All of this despite playing behind a young, injury-riddled OLine. Kid's a baller and knows how to win, that's for sure.

Still got the heart of a champion. McEelroy said something in the second quarter to the extent of "This is what Georgia does. They take your best shot and then something something fight back."

I appreciate how Kirby is the calmest when we're losing. He saves it for halftime. Shockley said "Kirby definitely turned red in the locker room." Then he goes back to being calm and encouraging.

I just wish we weren't so hapless and unfocused in the first half. This really is the third straight season of that shite.

He is so so so much more bearable and reliable at operating an offense than Beck was In particular last year not his first season. I get they are different styles and Beck is almost pure gunslinger at this point but Gunner is just way more reliable imo and seems to throw a more catchable ball but out wr are way better than what Beck had last year to be fair

Gunner is the lunch pale QB we needed.
He's got a strong arm and is on target most of the time but I would like to see him use more touch on some of his passes. Throwing those bullets on short passes can easily lead to deflections and bad things.

It seemed like his misfires last night were from rocketing the ball to hard because the OL wasn't giving him time enough to stand tall and put a little touch on it so it doesn't ricochet off the WRs hands.

On the DGD continuum where Carson Beck is on one side and Stetson Bennett is on the other, Gunner is closer to the Stet end.
