I get it was a first game. We didn’t know what to expect. But I remember fsu being super physical that game and they look soft as hell in every game since. It’s really weird

They had a former Bama transfer (Earl Little?) who was fired up to play his old team and was in on the play on defense what seemed like the whole day.
Guess that intensity was only good for one game.

I choose to believe the rumors of flu running rampant were true. That game makes less sense as time goes on.

Florida State is hard to prep for in an opener under Norvell because they have a brand new team every year via transfer portal and new coaches this year on top of it. See LSU x2.
