Tom Herman would succeed right now. We are in a different CFB world.
I'm not a defender of Herman - I'm just saying Sark is no better - in fact, worse, if you compare the two historically.
Sark is a 7-win coach, and despite Texas riches, damned if he won't find a way to get back to that.
Besides, we need to settle down and understand there are 135 other schools in this thing.

I guess in your mind getting otherwise mediocre Texas teams jacked up to win meaningless bowl games against higher ranked opponents trumps a conference championship, playing for another and making the playoffs two years in a row and going two rounds deep in one of those seasons? Okay then..
