Historic match up this weekend.

Thanks for letting me on the board to discuss.

How are you feeling about it?

I feel pretty good that you guys will
Win comfortably.

Idk about a blowout but I hope you can do that. I think you’ll win by double digits even if it’s just 10 pts in an ugly low scoring game.

I think our defense is legit and majority of the guys are gonna be playing in the NFL. We will be able to play zone and man when we need to while forcing UF to beat us on the ground in the rain. I think this will be to our advantage, considering Lagway has a leg injury.

If Arch shows up and can throw the ball as well as he can for playing in the rain, we'll be fine. We have a deep backfield and our QB can also run the ball. Now, how does our line do playing in the rain? Idk.

I feel like this game is gonna have a long delay at some point too. So, hopefully that doesn't happen.

Lagway will struggle throwing the ball in the rain, I think.

Welcome to the slapfight in the swamp!

Honestly I kind of expect this game to play out similar to how yall's game in Red Stick a couple weeks ago.

Essentially when either team is on offense it should be a cringefest and will have to hope the defense can force turnovers and make big plays.

Saw the O/U was 42.5 and I don't see how these two midgets could ever score 6 combined touchdowns so I would load up on the under on the scores and the over on WTFs by both sets of fans

I think it'll be a close game, especially with the rain that is likely going to be a factor. I'm thinking there will be a delay at some point, which means we'll all be able to watch more of the Alabama vs Vanderbilt game.

Despite the lopsided score last year, the Florida running game impressed me and I think they found something there. TBD if they will try to pound the rock, especially with the rain.

Ball security will be critical as both defenses are really good.

Texas 20-16? Maybe a little lower for both as points will be at a premium. I'm hoping we punt and kick field goals on 4th down so that we can lean more into our defense.

Florida was always that team that can show up and beat a team when they least expect.

I still remember that 03 Florida vs LSU game and they were 3-3 going into that game (I was still really young then, so it was one of the first games I saw a team lose one they shouldn't).

Florida has the talent on both sides of the ball, which we understand as Texas fans/alumni can be frustrating.

I think Bobby Burton was making the comparison yesterday on OTF..

This Florida roster has more talent than any conference team we played from 1998-2023, outside of Oklahoma each year. Crazy, but probably true.

Florida can 100% win this game.

I don't watch. I just listen on Spotify driving to/from work. That and 3rd & Longhorn are the main two I listen to during football season.

The Stampede isn't bad, but VY and Brown need to be more critical. They blow too much smoke.

1940.

85 years

And yet, still sooner than Aggy’s most recent title

I agrrr. Probably the best defense we’ll face all season considering how spotty UGA has looked, and certainly the best we’ve faced so far. Without a doubt the most talented but I think between the coaching and talent it is the best we’ve faced yet and likely the best we will face

So the aggy calculator renders Thursday, March 30, 1854 which is 31,322 days before 1/1/1940

That means any events in history that have happened on or since March 31, 1854 is closer to the last aggy championship than today.

Franklin Pierce was serving as the 14th president on that day and if aggy can not win the CFP this year then they will enter the term of POTUS 13 Millard Fillmore

The Gadsden Purchase which established the modern day border with Mexico is closer to that victory over Tulane than the victory over Tulane is to today.

In 3 days we will be able to say the same thing about the start of the Crimean War and in 11 days we will also be able to say the same for the founding of the Republican Party.
