Record vs. coaches with teams curreintly in the AP top 25:
• Mike Deboer – 0-2
• the rest of them – 15-2
...We have a shrink on the payroll now, and he's supposed to be a good one. He introduced our players and staff to mudita and the transformative power of mudita. Kirby should ay down on a couch somewhere at some point this off-season and talk to him about it. I am in football hell today smh.

Kalen Deboer, good catch. Who the hell was Mike Deboer? He was somebody. Too much useless sports knowledge in my head and get confused sometimes, sorry.

Kirby Smart gave the game away when he didn't kick the field goal to tie the score.

Hey, Kirbs - keep your chin up.
Grin ensues as he walks away.

The 3rd down play right before that might've been a first down, depending on where Stocton's butt landed. The replay booth would've buzzed down and it would've been damn close one way or the other. But we decided to go into super cute hurry up mode with a 165 running back and not even give the replay booth a chance to get a good look at it.
It was a truly awful coaching decision in more ways than one smh.

Like I said in the scoreboard thread, Alabama is to Georgia what Florida was in the 90s and 00s. They just can't beat them and it's in their heads now. I don't expect it to be any different next year, Alabama is a blind spot for Kirby

Kirby likes Alabama and has a hard time when the game comes up I guess...only way to explain it. Because he kills teams he does not like.

Georgia from a Bama perspective:
Should have kept running. Georgia had runs of 24, 29, 43, 43, 14, and 21 yds. This is not including the many runs under 10 yds. If Georgia had just stuck more with running on the edge, Bama may have eventually wore down.
Kirby not kicking the FG was a killer. He had Bama on the ropes and had all the momentum. He wanted to win too bad but he choked on the call to tie up.
The fumble by Georgia that gave Bama 3 points was HUGE. If the game had been tied right there, Kirby would have kicked the FG instead of getting stopped on 4th down which was a big swing in Mo.
Georgia may not get a lot better under Kirby. He and Saban's style will not flourish in the NIL era because of parity and needing a more advanced coaching level. Can't stock pile NFL talent anymore and run vanilla bully-ball.

Georgia probably won't get a better coach than Kirby between now and the day I die of old age. But we all have weaknesses, I guess.

Sounds like you’re combining our current coach with some other average coaches named Mike that coached at Alabama

There's a reason they are putting Space Force HQ in Huntsville.
