Rumors are going around that fans are calling for a Blackout for Bama . I’m not saying it wouldn’t be cool and this isn’t the UGA of old but I don’t think it is necessary

I like a red out personally, but whatever gets the crowd going I am all for.

I don't believe in that whole black out curse because of a game in 2008. That was 1 loss with it

When was the last time a night game at Sanford Stadium wasn't a blackout? It's been a few years.

Yeah, personally if the team can't get over Bama with the added juice of a home blackout and well marinaded crowd, we have bigger problems.

Alternate jerseys featuring our other primary school color is hardly "fAkE jUiCe".

Folks who get bent out of shape over the black jerseys 17 years after an overconfident Richt team forgot to show up for a big game is the limpest of limp-dicked mental retardation.

I’m all for the blackout for the stadium bc it’s one of not the most coolest and beautiful scenes in college football, but I feel I guess I’m old school like there shouldn’t be no need for black jerseys to add extra juice that Kirby and this coaching staff should have them ready. If not, then we have a serious problem.

I like the uniform changes, all white storm trooper unis are awesome, black is awesome, red pants are apart of our tradition. I like changing it up.

Changing it up from this game after Kirby has never done it would be absolutely fake juice

Like the one they was so bad years ago that we wore in a season opener under Richt - Boise I think

That was just weird and someone should have said no until they got one acceptable. That entire night is forgettable anyway.

idk why people still don't realize in 2025 that what some losers "call for" online means absolutely zilch. The spike squad begging people to wear a certain color means nothing.

The team is 10000% wearing their normal home jersey. If you're attending wear whatever you like! Only choose differently if the actual school asks for it.

Don't get me wrong. I think the black jerseys would be a terrible idea for this game. That said, the fans should black out any night game BTH after proper fall begins.

that was a nike thing that I beleive we had little or perhaps no say in. It's hard to think we'd have zero say actaully, btu I do remember our hands basically being tied and more or less told that we had to wear them. That was part of nike's "pro combat" line that many schools wore, it's just unfortunate that ours turned out so hideous.

Not sure why we abandoned the #SpreadtheRed after the waning years of the CMR era.

Then again, I don't know why anybody would need extra motivation to wear red to a UGA home game, absent any other directions.

IMO every fan shoudl alwasy wear red to home games period, until the weather cools and then alternate clothing options come into play.

The only specific actual "RED OUT" game I can recall was 2013 LSU and man it looked terrific. There've probably been others I just can't recall offhand.

They’ve worn black jerseys at least once with Kirby

they've done it 3 times, but the only 2 "real" ones against actual opponents were in bizarro covid season, 1 against a scrub team at night where we maybe wanted some juice and the other in a bowl game in front of a home crowd.

Never in a million years would kirby have the team wear black thsi saturday.

Looks like it was Clemson 2014 that I was thinking of:
