I have seen enough. I am now on board.

I thought he did the best he could against that OK front 7. He did hold on to the ball a bit long, but I wasn’t looking down field to see if WRs were open. Of course, the OL was getting whipped like a rented mule as well.

Nobody is throwing Jackson under the bus, we're just saying that he was as much, or more, responsible for the huge sack number. You, on the other hand, oddly choose to put it all on the OL. You're giving off jouveniletiger vibs.

I'm going to be honest, some of you guys are absolutely delusional 
. This guy is at best a mid QB. He has a serious problem with holding onto the ball too long and you can blame the OL for a few drives but he had 3-4 seconds to throw the ball in most cases. He missed multiple open TD's, chose to run instead of dumping the ball for short gains, and was responsible for most of the sacks. You comment on his running ability but he got absolutely destroyed running the ball against SEC play (which many of us predicted would happen).
To me, he was one of the primary reasons why we lost. I certainly understand trying to find silver linings and to have hope for your team but ignoring his obvious issues is just setting yourself up for further disappointment.
You hope the guy can suddenly figure it out but that's a very low probability of happening and doesn't exactly align with Auburn's track record of QBs.

This thread has nothing to do with the other thread. I told the board I was waiting to see enough substance in Arnold's passing game and I do. When I'm in there's no out so I guess this thread is a warning.

I’m good, he holds onto the ball a tad too long causing some of his issues. If he could just get a little more aggressive in the pass game I think he can open up some whoop arse. Hopefully he doesn’t find himself on the turf for 11-12 minutes of our possession time moving forward.

He’s not far off, stuff to work on but he has shown very good flashes. We need to do some better job of helping him out.
I really don’t know where some of the RPO went on Saturday that we showed against ball state. They were giving so much cushion on the outside. We were convinced we were going to throw deep and forgot about so much other stuff.

Arnold has a tendency to underthrow, but still if he is underthrowing deep balls there is still an advantage to the offense as the receiver can work to draw either the foul or collect the reception.

He is way more concerned with not throwing picks than taking the risk to let the receivers make plays. He’s a great athlete but he is mid as a QB at least up this point.

That was not surprising. OK fans have proven to be trash given the rant. What’s funny is that Mateer isn’t that much, if any, better than Arnold. Nothing Mateer did yesterday proved otherwise.

He made the clutch throw when needed, but he was very beatable, just have to play disciplined. That throw on their final drive was a dime. I’ll give him credit for that. We missed too many opportunities with people wide open.
