We learned how to keep Lagway from throwing picks. Just don't throw the ball more than a few yards past the line of scrimmage or take a sack.

He cant even do that. How many Hitch routes / WRs sitting down in a zone did he miss? He threw one of our guys right into the DB ..

Just saw a clip on Youtube of Shannon Snell, saying he and a QB guy he knows both watched our QBs warm up and Jones is by far the better passer.

Yep you can't let a player getting big money dictate that much. I just blew it off but I do remember people saying review of the Tulane game showed Lagway couldn't read a defense good that his earlier good stuff last season was against man coverage mostly.

If he had a good QB coach he would do well. He has the arm str, run ability, just despertly needs a good QB coach.

We will see. I think naturally being able to read a defense is part of the "it"factor and he so far has not got better at all hardly since the blueprint was put out there. I still think he is likely a Franks or Richardson who the best you will be able to do is keep it simple and the mistakes down. Maybe he even lights TX and others up this year proving me wrong. I don't see it happening though against the better defenses.

Watch his high school tapes, very easy to see he has regressed a ton under Napier. Wonder why.
