Remember when tamu signed what was then thought to be the most expensive roster in CFB history for about $30 million? And every Aggie fan was beating their chest about how they would be unstoppable with such an embarrassment of riches? And then the program imploded, all of the players left, and tamu had to fire its coach?

Yes. We remember. We had an awful coach. Full stop.
The jury’s still out on Elko. We shall see.
We aren’t anywhere close to elite yet. No where close. But Elko does have things improving so far.
But yes. We know. Our coach was awful.
We demonstrated we know this when we fired him and began paying him a 75 million get the frick out paycheck.
