He receives the back due property taxes for Rocky Top and our Stadium in Downtown Knoxville?

After 10 years I think he should get a homestead exemption....

Georgia has a winning record in Neyland Stadium.

I give Richt credit, too. He's the one who turned the Tennessee rivalry around, which was one of his greatest contributions.

Richt was Providence. It has all worked out the only way it could, I actually feel bad for Richt being the best coach to never win a Natty. He was too stubborn and honest and was too in to suspended players.

If there were a CFP in 2007 I think he’d have won one

2002 was the Ohio State 4th and 18 completion against Purdue with the game on the line. Who knows what happens against Miami.

2007 was Tennessee pulling two miracle victories out of their butt at the end of the season. We would've beat the shite out of LSU in the SECCG and then beat the shite out of Ohio State in the national title game. We were the best team in the country by the end of the season and that would be hard to dispute.

2012 was the SECCG against Alabama that ended at the 4 yard line. Definitely would've beat the shite out of Notre Dame in the national title game.

...In closing, Richt didn't get the right breaks at the right time.

Every coach since Goff raised the program from where it was when they got there.

Donnan got us back to general respectability.

Richt got us back to title contention.

Kirby got us over the top.

Yup and we haven't spent 10s of millions on buyouts like our peers

@Violent Hip Swivel. This is all true but if we beat Notre Dame win the national championship then we don't get Kirby Smart. Would you sacrifice winning that year knowing what you know now or would you still have taken the title and kept Richt a few more years?

Had Kirby taken that Auburn job we might have been screwed for a while.

Spurrier is the other butterfly effect with Kirby. If Spurrier doesn't quit midseason in 2015, and if South Carolina doesn't start reaching out to Kirby and Jimmy Sexton does his Jimmy Sexton voodoo, we might've dragged our feet for at least another year and held on to Richt and not hired Kirby.

All Providence. Prayers answered.

OTOH, Dabo got over the MTN top but is now suffering the same syndrome. He doesn't realize that he was well compensated for all the winning he has done, that bill is paid. He has now lost sight that fans still expect him to win regardless of the past. It's cold but why coaches get paid so much, just win.
