Landon is really missing Pribula at PSU.

He did make several good throws. He knifed a couple of throws into the zone to move the chains and another for a TD. The throws outside the #s were NFL throws. The skill guys are also helping him out.

I have no idea how James Franklin didn't see the arm talent. I know its early but Beau appears to be a better passer than Drew Allar, and that's saying something.

Encouraging him to enter the portal just before their playoff run is puzzling. Time will tell what kind of secondary kU has but he diced them.

He was told to go to the portal because of the odd timing of the portal closing. The portal closed before the National Championship Game. If Pribula stayed with PSU, he would have missed that portal window and missed opportunities.

One of Franklin's complaints is that the portal window dates should be changed, which I guess has now been done.

I'm not sure that he'll end up in the NFL, but the accuracy and ball placement are most certainly NFL quality.

The portal timing is one thing. Franklin basically told him it was Allar's job this year. Allar has 5 games with 250 yds passing in 31 career starts. Beau might have that many in his first 5 starts. I have a hard time believing that Moore and Gleeson unlocked this kid's throwing ability in 8.5 months.

I honestly believe Franklin thought Allar was going to the NFL and he wouldn't face this decision. But honestly what could he do when Allar decided to return? He can't tell the starter with NFL talent to leave. That would be a terrible look.

When the talent levels are even, Allar turns the ball over. He threw 5 INTs in four games vs ranked opponents. The game vs SMU was the only game they won. He also turned the game vs USC into a dogfight by throwing 3 picks in that game. If Beau was throwing the ball like this in practice at PSU, you'd think the competition would have been opened up because their road goes through the Ducks and tOSU. Their loss IMO.

My amateur eyes tell me we have a special collegiate QB. Chase with a stronger arm and elite mobility. Some of those throws were elite no matter who is throwing them. On the money.
