So will they play us like the two cupcakes and keep everything in front and make us execute long drives to score?

Or do they continue to play man with single high safety like they did against Syracuse?

Have we given them sufficient tape to worry that Gunner will be asked to push the ball down the field to pick on the replacements in the secondary?

What if Gunner doesn't have to and we still whoop their arse?

Why have the majority of our passes been short this year so far?

I'm all for old school, smashmouth SEC ball. Every ounce of offensive muscle we have needs to be flexed because we need improvement at each facet of the game there. Gunner needs reps. WRs need reps. RBs need yards.

Then kirby will be tickled pink! 6 and 7 min. Drives to shorten the game and keep their offense off the field. Defense makes 2 more stops than theirs and maybe a turnover. But half this board will still melt because we didn't put up 40 and make highlight reels

Once a year or so UGA will have a game where they just surprise the shite out of you with a result like this. Even under Richt it happened semi-regularly.

last year we looked beyond pathetic against kentucky, got whipped against bama, and sleepwalked through two snoozers against lousy AU and MSU teams before heading to Austin to face #1 texas at night. And wouldn't ya know it, we beat the hell out of them. Out of nowhere!

There aren't many smilarities between that game and this one, but likewise it woulnd't surprise me to have another "Kirby Special" where we just flat out wear them out and win by multiple TDs. Of course, I could also see a 10+ point loss too. I really have no clue what to expect with it being so early in the season. Whihc sucks. I hate being anxious before games.

Great...won't matter if OL doesn't continue to improve. They've got to get that hand off during a shift and give Gunner a little more time. Several of the wide open shots were missed because he was getting pressured and he couldn't allow the route to develop.

I'm pretty bullish on the run game.

Like Bowens a lot. Like the QB runs. And like the gap scheme wrinkles they have added. I think the perimeter blocking and TEs have done well too.

Need to get the rotation set and let them gel though. Don't love the constant rotation

Might be in for a dose of man ball with our defense and QB limitations.
