Napier is about the worst play caller/game manager I can remember. Short of upsetting LSU next week there is zero chance he recovers some and isn't fired...

He shouldn't get the opportunity to coach vs. LSU.

He is gonna lame duck the rest of the season to get a lower buyout and we will hire another slop coach. The cycle will repeat.

Some people are claiming his buyout wasn't really boosted hardly and its a little over 20 million at the end of the season.

Lane Kiffin, Jedd Fish, Alex G just proved he is a much better coach so why not.

I would probably take Kiffin. 9 and 10 win seasons at Ole Miss aren't easy.

If he beats lsu it's only because Kelly is washed up. I'd move on anyway.

Yeah he is not the answer regardless. This discipline style football is never going to work at Florida, especially trying to be a player's coach nice guy.

Add in that he coaches a ball control offense, and he is perfect for the Big 10.

The only way Napier had a chance was to hire a really good OC in the off-season and turn the offense over to them, but he decided that he was the best man to run the offense. His style of double digit play drives down the field and winning the time of possession battle are not a fit for UF.

More like the MAC
He's a mid-major type of coach at best, and a high school coach at worst.

Add in that he also coaches that offense with one of the worst offensive coordinators in division one college football.

He had 2 chances. I would've supported him going into 2024 if he had done it then. But he lost me after year 2, and I never bought into him again.

Why have 2 OL coaches and thousands of analysts if you're going to consolodate the HC and OC roles? Especially when he sucks at both so bad.

It seems like he's a micromanager who couldn't trust another person to run his high school offense.

Scared money don't make money

My view has always been 8-4 or worse he needs to go but I know he would be retained at 8-4.

LSU is very good and it’s at Death Valley so I don’t agree that he has to upset them. But we should be competitive, and no more stupid coaching or penalties.

If he doesn’t beat Miami tho he’s pretty much a dead man walking at 1-3 going into facing a top 10 Texas. If we’re 1-3 and they blow us out at home, it’ll get ugly.

I would be shocked if he loses to LSU and somehow survived the season. The one thing this S FL loss did I think is make it where he won't survive another mediocre 7 - 5 season.

So 0 - 9 against decent teams on the road shouldn't have him hanging by a string?

Florida is not beating anyone in the top 10.right now
So sorry guys Florida
will be 1 & 4 when Florida goes to A&M

Will see what happens after that?

I see a 4&8 season looming
Maybe just maybe 5&7

No doubt in my mind that Billy gets another year to see if he can get it right. But of course will not go get a real OC
I truly believe Billy could be a very good head coach if he would give up.play calling get a real OC and manage the team as a whole and let the coordinators do their job
But unfortunately Billy will not let go of play calling

To win at UF you have to have attude as Vince Mcmahan once said and be a good offensive mind "we need more attitude." Spurrier and Meyer damn sure had it...so did Muschamp but lacked the offensive mind.
