Using 247's top 10:

1. Arch - Texas - has done nothing, still has time to improve and pay off.

2. Iamaleava - Tenner - stinking it up at UCLA

3. Dante Moore - UCLA - now starting at Oregon

4. Jackson Arnold - Oklahoma - now starting at Auburn

5. Malachi Nelson- USC - now starting at UTEP

6. Jaden Rashada - ASU - sued Florida, now starting for Sacramento State

7. Aidan Chiles - Oregon St. - now starting for Michigan St.

8. Austin Mack - Washington - backup at Alabama

9. Avery Johnson - Kansas St. - starter at K St, father fighting brother after loss

10. Christopher Vizzina - Clemson - backup at Clemson

Do we know what the outcome of the suit was?

The fact that only 3 of the 10 are still where they started says everything about what's wrong with college sports right now. I still love to watch but it shouldn't be so easy to just drag up and move along, especially unlimited times.

Still ongoing. Judge has allowed it to move to discovery phase.

Quarterback has always been the hardest position to project and predict how they will do at the next level.

Just look at how many high school recruits turn out to be busts in college. And how many college draft picks turn out to be busts in the NFL.

This guy is now at like his 5th school, has sucked at all of them, and sucked at sac state this last week, he should try to get that settlement asap because that's probably his last chance at a payday related to football.

True. One saving grace a lot of them had though, pre-unlimited portal, was often times they'd get moved to other positions and actually find success there. Even translating into NFL careers for some that would've never happened as QB's.

Now, they just move on because they don't want to fight for the starting job or are unwilling to try another position. They've now been given every tool they need to step on their own dicks and never amount to anything, anywhere.

Then you have to go all the way down to #34 to find potential Heisman candidate LaNorris Sellers.

Weirdest QB class ever. Joey Football was a huge blessing for us in disguise.

I'm curious to see how this eventually plays out in the future with players/contracts and how they address restricting the movement to some degree.

Surely that wasn’t that common? Good point though.

Yeah, maybe I was a little hyperbolic in saying "often times".

Wouldn't call it common but it did happen multiple times.

High school recruiting rankings of top 10 (IMO) 2024 NFL quarterbacks (per 24/7).

Lamar Jackson: 3 star, 26th ranked dual threat QB
Patrick Mahomes: 3 star, 29th ranked pro style QB
Josh Allen: unranked out of high school, zero D-1 scholarship offers; played juco, 3 star juco recruit
Jayden Daniels: 4 star, #1 ranked dual threat QB
Joe Burrow: 4 star, 7th ranked dual threat QB: 4 star, 15th ranked pro style QB
Justin Herbert: 3 star, 25th ranked pro style QB
Jalen Hurts: 4 star, #1 ranked dual threat QB
Tua Tagovailoa: 5 star, #1 ranked dual threat QB
Dak Prescott: 3 star, 19th ranked dual threat QB
Brock Purdy: 3 star, 24th ranked pro style QB

Six 3 stars.
Three 4 stars.
One 5 star.

It is hard to project QBs.
