Would DaBear be open to having weekly meeting with Saban to try and right the ship?

The question is does he have the backbone to hold the players accountable

Hell no. And even if he did it wouldn’t fix anything. DeBoer loves being a hands off coach. He would nod his head and take notes but never be willing to do what Saban says. DeBoer isn’t a first one in last one out kinda guy.

Saban needs to be far away from the program. Worst thing an old coach can do is hang around.

He doesn’t, I’ve seen multiple accounts of players cursing him out on the practice field and him doing nothing about it.

Yeah, that would be the same as teaching a 5 yr old to ride a bike. Duh-bore has no idea about an SEC offense!!

I think it's funny that anyone thinks Saban gives a shite at this point. His legacy is sealed and nothing that happens, at Bama, after his departure will diminish that. If anything, the debacle that's going on there now just reinforces the fact that he was the GOAT. And that he knew what was coming and bailed at the right time.

Maybe Bama will luck up and catch lightning in a bottle again another 25 years from now. Gonna be difficult to ever have another Bear or Saban though as long as the college game is what it is now though.

There’s your problem. Unless that shite is fixed tDecline is real. Can’t bring that northwest coast pussy hippy shite approach to a place like Bama.
