For those few advocating dropping GT as an annual game to improve the OOC schedule, here's a look at future OOC games:

Future Schedule

2026: Louisville
2027: FSU and Louisville
2028: FSU
2029: Clemson
2030: Clemson and Ohio State
2031: Ohio State
2032: Clemson
2033: Clemson and NC State
2034: NC State

In several of those latter years, the full OOC schedule isn't complete.

I’d imagine some of those OOC games are going to change once the schedule goes to 9 sec games. Specifically, the seasons with 3 power 5 non-conference games.

Many of those will be dropped once the 9 game schedule comes out. Did you not realize this?

Dropping GT is stupid. We should always play GT, Florida, and Auburn.

Will UGA ever play GA. State or Kennesaw State? Not saying to replace GT with them, just seems funny we never play any other team in-state. I know we played GA Southern a few times.

Never, you have to remind them yearly who alpha is

If we are going to play G5 teams, we should have a rotation of GA Southern, GAST, and KSU to keep that revenue in-state.

The day we stop playing Tech will be the day we made sure it will never resemble what this was and who we are…

There's zero chance we play those upcoming games vs OSU and we're not playing both Clemson and another P4 opponent in the same year with a added conference game.

I would expect all of those games to be cancelled in the coming months, with the possible exception a neutral site game or two against Clemson.
