it’s because kids will always be kids and never understand the seriousness of a school shooting but it’s because the schools overdo this shite. Every fricking year at every school in American high school now they have active shooter drills and spend entire days of professional development for teachers on talking about how to deal with it. And teenage boys especially realize the absurdity spending so much time on something that will rarely happen. The right way to handle it is have a plan but don’t continually harp on it! You end up looking like an idiot and the kids stop taking it serious
