Milton looks completely uncomfortable when his first read isn't open and he has to scan the field. Hooker is about to be cut it seems.

Here's Kurt Warner not understanding why UT WRs don't even bother to run a route on a passing play.

One question I do have watching this. wouldn't it be better if the WRs went ahead and ran downfield and tried to block the defenders on them to help spring a bigger play?

So exactly like he did in college

Hooker was a complete nobody at VT until he transferred to Tennessee and promptly shredded his knee in November of his last year. He was an older QB come draft day and most QBs flame out of the league even under the best of circumstances

We’ve had one of the best rushing attacks in the country every year since Heupel joined. Passing has been stale since Golesh left but idk how much of that is scheme and how much is our two most recent QBs not being able to hit wide open receivers

That’s less to do with Heupel than it does Glen Elarbee, who is the best OL coach in the business. That Huepel has kept Elarbee loyal through numerous coaching moves is the biggest win he’s had.

Elarbee has yet to develop a player he recruited from the HS ranks. He’s a solid enough OL coach but pump the brakes.

It’s scheme over everything else, our use of TEs in the run game has been an eye opener in the coaching ranks if insiders are to be believed

Your run game is also aided by splitting the WRs so far outwide that teams have to leave the box nearly empty.

Your RBs are also a riddle for NFL evaluators to try to figure out because in the NFL you're looking for guys that can make multiple moves to get through traffic.

You can't really run the Veer and Shoot in the NFL because the hash marks being so close to the middle of the field don't give you the same advantage of being able to get defenders so far away from the ball on one side.

"Promptly" as in, almost 2 years after he arrived?

I believe the point being, if he doesn’t have the knee injury, he has a different nfl path.

If so, he'd still have to overcome an awful lot. He reads half the field and then runs. That's not how it's done in the League.

Not sure what you’re referencing, but Elarbee isn’t there to “develop” players for the NFL. He’s there to teach them to execute the scheme that UT runs, and he does it exceptionally well. He’s done that exceptionally well everywhere he’s been, in fact.

If you have doubts about how good that dude is, go read his UT bio. Or his UCF bio. Or his Missouri bio. Or his Arkansas State bio.

Elite OL play follows him around, and he’s the common denominator.

We, at Mizzou, know how that system works with all it's flaws and advantages. Complimentary football goes out the window with Heupel, and quite frankly it feeds into the diva mentality for his WRs.

In short, it's a system that gets it's business stood on from time to time.

Those days are LONG gone, Sara. Heup's gonna score about as often as you on 30A.

Does this pathetic jerk ever post about UGA? He seems obsessed with Tennessee.

Hey, koreanjackoff, I asked you a question in the other thread. You seem to be dodging.

Yes. Been awhile. I don't work in the states.

I post about the SEC on here. I don't post about my school because I find it braggadocious and usually just talk about it with fellow Dawgs on another board. I understand that UT folk would rather come here and tell us how great you all are. Just not my style.

I will say that you can be a huge fan and not actually attend games. My father (lost him a little over a year ago) was as big of a Dawg fan as anyone I knew, but I think his last game was vs. LSU in 1986 in terms of attending. Still, never missed watching on TV.

You might be shocked to find out there are huge NFL fans in Europe who have never attended an NFL game of their favorite team in person.

You might also be shocked to find out there are huge soccer fans in the US who have never attended a Premier League game in the UK.

How would you know? UGA has had one decent QB in the league since Fan Tarkenton, and that is Matthew Stafford.

I guess showing up at training camp stoned and drunk is how it is done, right? How did Bennett's college play translate to the NFL?

We'll wait on your answer...and wait...and wait...,

There are no reads in Heupel's offense. Everything is pre-determined.

Better than that of Hooker or Milton.
