Latest intel from 2 reporters who were at fall camp. That 2024 Oline Class got whipped in shape nicely.

1st Team
LT Monroe Freeling 5*
LG Michael Morris 4* NATL. 67
C Drew Bobo 3*
RG Michael Uini 4* NATL. 94 (2024 Class, came in 6-7 335, now 6'7 325)
RT Earnest Green 4* NATL. 45

2nd Team
LT Juan Gaston 5*
LG Jamal Meriweather 3* (2023 class, listed 6'6 287, kind of light for the inside)
C Malachi Toliver 3* (2024 Class, came in 6-5.5 320, now 6'5 320) did he shrink?
RG Daniel Calhoun 4* NATL 66 (2024 Class, came in 6-6.5 365, now 6'6 325)
RT Nyier Daniels 4* NATL 271 (2024 Class, came in 6-7.5 391, now 6'8 345)

I have no reason to doubt Drew Bobo, but it always makes me suspicious when I see coach's kid starting in college ball. If my kid was good enough to start for a team I coached, I'd tell him to go somewhere else.

Please little sweet 6 pound baby Jesus let some of these new starters age beyond their years and rise to the occasion.

Every time I watch an SEC pre season hype show it’s about how great the players for all the other teams are.

Was Monroe Freeling the one that got smoked like he wasn’t there by ND? Also I agree that the OCs kid as a starter is a huge conflict.

Good. Espn is currently hyping up Ohio State to potentially repeat. I want them to start the season feeling disrespected and pissed off.

Freeling was playing with a bad shoulder. He had shoulder surgery in January. Earnest Green was hurt also. I'm thinking we had 0 depth at LT to replace him against Notre Dame. Dawgs are much better at depth this year.

Dude was hurt. Quit being a fricking retard. Also, Bobo is legit.

I personally don’t want a talented kid with a high football IQ who grew up a multigenerational dawg fan from a multigenerational coaching pedigree on my team!
I can already see we are setting up for the 2025 Cancer Dawg MHPs.

Freeling had some footwork issues. He has the athleticism and frame. He can overcome his issues from last year with work.

If you tinker with the Chat GPT settings for about 30 seconds, it will spit out an epid aily practice report. I haven't done it yet, but maybe one preseason I will.

Why must you always take the emotional intelligence of a perfectly good thread back to middle school. I don't know if they have angry goth kids anymore, but you are this board's angry 7th grade goth kid.

I may be tempted to entertain your concerns if you or anyone could point to someone on the roster who is actually a better center option. There isn’t. Bobo knows the system, got valuable (and good) playing time last year, and the guys behind him are very clearly behind him. Let’s also not act like he’s some little walk on. Dudes listed at 6’5” 305.

Ok Erica, I’ll bite. The position group that was a huge liability all year and cost us a shot at a natty is perfectly fine.

Did he or did he not have surgery on said injury?

Is he good now? Is our line as a whole?

I think we’re going back to Kirbyball. Run, don’t turn ball over, play great defense. I don’t hate it. But if you expect a return to the Monken years, you’re delusional.

O-Line Looks to be a very solid group. We also hired some speciality coaches at certain positions to help develop. This unit should be better overall. How much better will be the determination of the season. Defense is stacked and not worried about that. We need to be able to run the ball or Gunner will struggle.

I’ll take the under on the o-line but I still think we have a solid season. This could be our second best Kirby D (2022)

If both lines can play up to Kirby standards we’ll be right there in the end.
