Last weekend without real CFB news. Let's go!

Drink stated that to begin camp, Williams and Trost are the starting tackles and Early will start at RG. Early's PFF grade last season was 79. That would have been 3rd best among last year's oline behind Membou and Green.

I'm hoping the QB battle works itself out before week 1, but I don't think it will. I foresee that game being the final exam, with both getting equal opportunity to show what they have.

I didn't hear Reichert's name mentioned in any of the OL battles. I heard RT- Trost, Lange, Solis LT-Williams, Richardson, Hafer RG-Guidice, Early.
Drink never brought up Reicherts name, and Hafers name was a surprise to hear.

I was surprised to see Hafer move positions too. He's put on 60 lbs. If he still has the same athleticism and can get the technique, it may be a great move.

Defensive two deep
No real surprises on the ones. Gracial not being on the two deep is a little surprising.

I hope he stays healthy all season. He could unlock the intermediate passing game.

Our version of Lane Johnson would be cool.

That would be most optimal

There's going to be a ceiling if Beau wins the job IMO. Im not saying it won't be an effective offense as the running game would be very dynamic overall. It just wouldn't be a offense built to win a shootout and there are going to be those games in the SEC no matter how good your defense is. Horn's arm talent changes everything.

Time is counting down for another good season!
Should be fun. Starting to feel it now.

No kidding. MU football and basketball are practically the only sports I pay attention to anymore.

I think all Mizzou fans are excited to see Sam Horn get a legitimate shot at this gig. He's been a true son these last few years.

If Horn starts, does BP transfer after the season?

Id like to see Moore's offense function with a legit NFL arm. That goes beyond just being able to spin it. Without anticipation and placement arm strength is meaningless. Id like to think by year 3 Horn has a full grasp of the offense and just needs time with the skill group to make use of the concepts Moore builds around. That being said Drink has his 5 core grading attributes for his QB and none of them are centered around physical abilities. I think its going to come down to who takes care of the ball and more importantly IMO, who can turn the RZ trips into TDs instead of FGs.
