Intentional grounding is a horrible rule

Some rules in sports are unreal. Intentional grounding called on Beck when he threw a pass 30 yards downfield under pressure. Resulted in a safety.

Officials really do have insane influence in sports

If the quarterback has the presence of mind to risk throwing a pass in the field of play and risking interception, he shouldn't be penalized for it.

LSU fans are so broken by officials that they watch games they’re not even involved in and complain about officiating.

Lol. Nah I mean it was an exciting game, weird sequences, UGA got pretty much owned...It's weird though, to call grounding when the ball is thrown so far down the field, just an officiating personal judgemental call, stupid.

We came back and took the lead in the 4th quarter. I'm not sure I would call that 'owned'.

LSU fan bitching about refs in a game from last season that did not involve his team. Real LSU fan confirmed.

Despite being down 28-0 at the half, UGA ended up leading the game with only a few minutes left, if I remember correctly. I haven't rewatched the game for obvious reasons. I'm on enough medications already.

We weren't up with 2 minutes left in the game?

I can't remember the play off hand, but there are rules for this to decide.

If he is in the pocket and he's throwing the ball in an area where nobody is around, then that is the rule.

You just gotta throw it somewhat near someone. Doesn't even have to be in bounds, just near an eligible person.

And congratulations on your 4 losses plus missing the playoffs.

Georgia should beat Alabama this season. If they don’t however, you are going to hear some serious grumbling about Kirby’s struggles against Alabama.

True story: From 2000-2003 Alabama lost 3 games to teams outside the top ten.

In 2004 Alabama lost 4 games to teams outside the top ten.

Ya think? I'd say you have not visited a UGA message board or heard from your UGA friends in a long, long time if you think that's just starting now.

I have never visited a UGA message board, so it has been a while. And I only have one Georgia friend. His MO is to text trash talk memes before every Alabama/Georgia game, and then all but once, hide for a couple of weeks.
