That day had a marked effect on me- even spawned my username. I still have this edition of the magazine in a box, it's made 6 moves with me now. The way that team played the season was inspirational to a city that desperately needed it

Gump for Heisman made about a dozen fakes of that cover that were awesome. Wish I still had the link. One said "RUSHING YARDS...NO, CLEMSON, YOU CAN'T HAVE ANY."
