Now that everyone is detoxifying from the sports season and trying to figure out where to take the little lady on vacation this summer, or what to do with the rug rats on the family jaunt while school is out, here are a few ideas that are a little different than most vacations.
1. Teton Valley Balloon Rally, Driggs, ID July 3-6
-Up, up and awa-aaaay, in my beautiful baaaa-looooon! 5th Dimension anyone?
LINK
2. Kelly Slater's Surf Ranch, Lemoore, CA
- A wave that never closes out
LINK
3. White water rafting the Salmon River, Lewiston, ID
-The Lower Salmon River in Idaho is known for its scenic beauty, warm, swimmable waters, and sandy beaches, making it perfect for varying skill levels.
LINK
4. Lobster Diving in Florida, Key West, FL July 30-31
-Man vs Crustacean. Experience the Keys like a local.
LINK
5. Fly Fishing the Bighorn River, Ft. Smith, MT
-Learn the nuanced craft of fly fishing on this world famous river.
LINK
OK ladies, we are getting soft around the middle this time of year, so get off the couch and get after it. We only have 2 months before football kicks off, and we don't want to have to move up to XXL when we buy our new team golf shirts in the fall.
Let's do it!

Yes Lew will probably kick this over to the travel page, but hopefully not since it clearly deals with SEC fan sports withdrawal. Which makes this a public service message imo.

I took mine on a nice summer vacation to Omaha, NE. Still there, actually. It’s been amazing, too.
So far.

I hear that is a great place to fish for ball park dogs and hunt for jello shots this time of year.

If you can get away from all the Libtards, head to the upper northeast. Amazing bars and breweries around New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont.

Heads up: she’s gonna think you’re a total bum when she realizes you’ve got no summer plans yet and we’re starring down July.
