Just wondering, always loved his play on words and hell, innocent until proven guilty.

Where is he now?

I know it's 2025 but it's weird how everything went down.

You’re going to have to be more specific regarding what allegations you’re talking about. The lawsuit filed against him was dismissed and he got a judgment for his attorney fees.

TT9 is known for just following "what people think", he's not really into evidence.

The Les Miles Era was a blast, something about it, and it was equally frustrating

I believe he has a 'type' but I don't think he did anything inappropriate

OP may be a dumbass in not knowing what "allegations" are without any specifics.

But, if we're gonna pick on Les Miles here:

"LSU self-imposed the penalty after the father of former offensive lineman Vadal Alexander was alleged to have received about $180,000 from a football booster during his Tigers career."

He sued LSU, the NCAA, and The National Football Foundation to have this overturned and restore his vacated wins so he could be eligible for the HOF.

He lost.

Does this taint his legacy?

Maybe this is what the dumbass OP was trying to point out.

Sometimes it is difficult to understand the simple mind of a Gump, but I appreciate your efforts. :)

Maybe, but the fact that he won attorneys fees against the Plaintiff is telling. Unless it was by default (sorry, I don't feel like researching), for him to prove it was frivolous and get attorneys fees is a fairly high bar against such thing. This may have reached a level of "scorching" that would signify the "allegations" were complete bullshite.

I will let an attorney with more knowledge of this to step in. *Cough* lsufball19 *Cough*

As bad as misconduct by a man is. False allegations make me almost as angry. Liars and thieves are in a close 2nd to murders and rapists

Always thought he was too stupid to be guilty of anything. But then I see his wife and wouldn't blame him.

I may be mis-remembering …. But, I thought I read that when they made the exception for Pirate Leach (RIP), this opened the door for CFB HOF for CLM even with the vacated wins.

I could be wrong.

I rarely think about Miles.

Yeah that was a loser of a lawsuit he filed. Where he fricked up was taking the Kansas job. Had he not done that, even with the vacated wins, he’d still have maintained his eligibility for the HOF. LSU has no obligation to consult with a non-employee (or active employee for that matter) regarding their negotiations for sanctions to resolve a case.

It wasn’t. It was a bullshite lawsuit filed by a woman who simply lost her job, among others, in a restructuring of the AD. Her lawsuit was dismissed by the judge. Miles got awarded his fees for defending the lawsuit.

No one to blame but himself. Maybe he felt indebted to Jeff Long after Long helped him get a raise from LSU by pretending Miles was a candidate for the Arkansas job.

I liked his time here, the fact that he kept LSU established as one of the toughest teams in football (THE toughest until Saban's Bama team finally passed them in the teens). I laughed at his goofy soundbites, and yeah I always figured he was playing that up.

I think his time ran it's course, but the ending was handled very poorly and not befitting what he accomplished while here, and I hate that people seemed to resort to character assassination at the end to make him go away.
Regarding any allegations about infidelity and cheating, it seems to me that there were more substantial rumors about the guy he replaced, and the guy who replaced him... but there wasn't really a smear campaign against either of them, not like what came out with Miles. Saban's was immediately squashed, and O went so public that it was ignored.

Anything about cheating= I'd say it's par for college football, and would simply say he dismissed both his starting QB, and later his All American defensive back, instead of burying those stories.
