Alabama has the #9 ranked recruiting class as of this morning.
On3 2026 Team Recruiting Rankings
The only SEC teams ranked higher are LSU, Georgia and A&M.
LSU has 10 commits, Georgia has 16 and A&M has 14.
Alabama has 6.

You’re right. Some years they were in the 80’s and still finished top 3.
