started getting back into it a few months ago and best pull so far is a Jayden Daniels kaboom very lucky with that. just curious if anyone around here is also into card collecting?

If you are doing it for fun, it sounds fun.

For profit, I just don’t know how to value collectables.

I guess the market is the market like anything else.

Not a virgin but I used to dabble in cards in fact I ran a sports card collectible shop for about 2 years. Now I tend to only grab cards from places like eBay of limited autographs things that are numbered Jersey cards and things that are limited. It is like playing the stock market you pick a couple of guys maybe some Auburn guys that you like you buy them when they're young I picked up a couple of the pettiford and I picked up a couple of like Irish cards a couple of years back.

just bought a box of 1990 fleer football cards from a thrift shop.

Couple Emmit Smith rookies, Joe Montana, jerry rice, bo jackson and a host of other hall of famers

- 1991 Upper Deck Chipper Jones rookie card (autographed)
- 1991 Score Chipper Jones rookie card (autographed)
- 1991 Topps Stadium Club Brett Favre rookie card
- Two 1993 Upper Deck SP Derek Jeter rookie cards

All cards above were pulled from packs except for Neikro and Staubach.

*** - these are their NFL “rookie” cards… both players have prior (and more valuable) USFL rookie cards

Got back into with my kids in '22. It has been a blast...AND EXPENSIVE. Love doing it.


I buy modern baseball cards to flip and support my vintage addiction.

Have 32 Senella Ruth, 33 Goudey Ruth, and other great vintage cards (Aaron 54 Rookie)... I'm a history nerd though.
