TNews (USA Today)
ironic that they are covering the team post season as they provided hardly any coverage during the regular season
Riley Quick, RHP
Quick has been projected as a first-rounder and a potential pick for the Atlanta Braves. The redshirt sophomore made a comeback from season-ending Tommy John surgery in 2024. Still built like the former offensive lineman he was at Hewitt-Trussville High School, billed at 6-foot-6, 245, Quick finished the season with a 3.92 ERA after his third loss of the year in the opening round of the NCAA Regional against Miami.
According to USA Today's mock draft, Gabe Lacques has Quick coming off the board at pick No. 28 overall in the first round to the Kansas City Royals.
Richie Bonomolo Jr., CF
Prep Baseball Report expects that Bonomolo will go in the first three to four rounds after upping his stock with the Crimson Tide. The junior has spent a single season with Alabama after starting his career in JUCO with a couple of standout years at Wabash Valley College.
Bryce Fowler, RF
The Southern Miss former's college career might've ended at the hands of his old team, but the grass was greener on the other side of his freshman year exit with a pit stop at Pearl River Community College in between. Possessing the same five-tool potential of Bonomolo, PBR anticipates Fowler to be taken by a club in the first five rounds.
Kade Snell, OF
The redshirt senior is projected by PBR to potentially be a top-five round pick due to his exceptional 5.6% SO rate and a head-turning 111.3 max EV, which becomes more impressive considering those numbers were built in the SEC. Snell spent two seasons with the Crimson Tide after stints at Auburn and Wallace-Dothan Community College.
Which other key Crimson Tide players are eligible for 2025 MLB Draft?
The following list indicates nothing other than being of draft-eligible age.
* Carson Ozmer, graduate, RHP
* Brady Neal, junior, C
* Coulson Buchanan, senior, RHP
* JT Blackwood, junior, RHP
* Will Plattner, junior, C
* Will Hodo, senior, 1B
* Aeden Finateri, senior, RHP
* Brennen Norton, senior, INF
* Braylon Myers, senior, RHP
* Garrett Staton, redshirt senior, INF
* Jason Torres, junior, 3B
* Hagan Banks, redshirt junior, RHP
* Bobby Alcock, redshirt senior, RHP
* Austin Morris, redshirt sophomore, RHP

Hodo is the only player we are losing that can’t be easily replaced IMO…. So far

Hodo and Snell as the guys that are definitely gone plus Fowler and Bonomolo would be tough losses as well if those projections are correct.

Pretty telling that the first 3 transfers are pitchers.

2 of them never saw the field this year so that tells me all I need to know about their ability. As crappy as our BP was this year if they could find the strike zone they would have played.

Well, Wagner spent the year rehabbing from Tommy John surgery. Not sure why he’s leaving now but it would seem logical, to your point, that the coaches probably have him down the pecking order further than he’d like.

From the TNews
quote:
Egan Lowery has entered the transfer portal according to sources with knowledge of the situation. UA representatives noted that Lowery, a sophomore, didn't make the roster for the 2025 season.
