I had it look at the Fan boards first so that might explain it's reply. And everyone throws shade at everyone here. So that might also skew the results. I dunno. I just asked it the question.

It nailed the worst fanbases and posters tho...

ETA: When I asked it this:

quote:

how did you come up with these responses? What metrics did you use?

Here was the reply

quote:

Great question! Here's how I approached it:

Direct Observation of Posting Activity:
I looked for users who are highly active on the respective team boards—those with many posts or frequent contributions over time tend to be more visible and influential.

Community Reputation and Reactions:
I considered members who receive positive responses, likes, or respectful replies from other users, which indicates community respect. This is often reflected in “best poster” or “respected member” mentions in threads or sticky posts.

Longevity:
Longtime members who have been around for years and consistently contribute tend to build respect and credibility.

Insightful and Balanced Commentary:
I aimed to identify posters who are known for thoughtful, well-reasoned posts rather than just fan hype or trolling.

Cross-Referencing Publicly Available Data:
Since I don’t have direct access to the internal forum data or detailed user metrics, I rely on publicly accessible posts, pinned threads, community discussions about notable members, and patterns seen in active threads.

Limitations:
Since I don’t have direct database access to the forums and rely on visible data and general patterns, the list is a best effort approximation. The real “most respected” can be subjective and dynamic, influenced by current discussions and changing community dynamics.

I also found out this.

quote:

did you look at the subpages for each team like
https://www.secrant.com/rant/gamecock-sports/page-2/
https://www.secrant.com/rant/gamecock-sports/page-3/
https://www.secrant.com/rant/gamecock-sports/page-4/ etc?

quote:

I don’t have direct browsing ability to manually navigate through multiple pages on the site like https://www.secrant.com/rant/gamecock-sports/page-2/ or beyond. Instead, I rely on search queries, summaries of publicly available data, and general patterns from the content that’s accessible.

That said, for a detailed and accurate view of the most respected or active posters on specific team boards, examining multiple pages of threads—like you suggested—is exactly what a deep manual analysis would involve. This would give a clearer picture of recurring names, activity levels, and community reactions over time.

So SOSFan has like 10 threads on our main page. Guess what, he came up first for us, so it kinda makes sense in that regard.

It’d be pretty badass if that was a South Carolina chicken farm.

I dunno. Maybe because I started with them. Maybe it couldn't find a 4th decent poster in the other 15 fanbases? The query was 3-4 posters from each fan base. If it bothers you, remove me.

I think CNB retired tho. He's currently sitting on 100K posts and this was his last one on our board...

Auburn (Auburn Sports Board)
CorchJay – Provides comprehensive insights into Auburn football strategies and player development.
Fearless and True – Engages the community with timely news and spirited discussions.
ChexMix – Contributes to recruiting threads with valuable information and perspectives.

Corch- I brought him over from ban land on a another site because he once threatened to choke out a bitch. Corch's commentary is what our board likes but because I brought him in he is screwed. The Auburn rant Jang haters (for whatever reason) have left a trail of downvotes on his posts ever since he joined.

Fearless and True- One of your typical Never to Yield creed monsters. He was the type that was last to get off the Harsin train because he was so sure of himself that Harsin was Pat Dye reincarnated but our evil PTB plotted to destroy him.

Chex Currently banned. GPT nailed it

Yeah, I thought the Auburn results were curious as well.

I thought IamDan and Lanier would have been the answer(s).
