My last post here. I have had to travel back and forth internationally and my wife works on sensitive research, so she requested me to stop posting anything online other than LinkedIn. Phones are being searched and even innocuous messages are being used as grounds for inadmissibility. This week my company has also shut down any international travel for me on attorney recommendations until I apply and if our citizenship is granted in fall next year. That too I am reconsidering since I am from one of the countries which does not allow dual citizenship which means I will lose all consular protections. I have lived here in this country, your country for almost 25 years and paid taxes and created many jobs in multiple states and have not even gotten a parking ticket, so it’s a bit tough to swallow but I just accept it.
Sorry for the long-winded OT post, I will miss posting here since I don’t have any other social media. I will look in to see the various arguments and back and forth banter. You guys be good, remember we all are fellow Auburn fans and need to treat each other with grace.
Last but not the least, don’t take for granted the freedoms you have as citizens of this great country.

Good luck but 25 years is a long time not to apply for proper citizenship.
No clue what you are going through but to blow up and account is probably best to go through chicken.

There is a huge bureaucratic lag time for people getting their natural citizenship. Unless you know somebody or are famous

A good friend of mine moved here on a visa in 1991 and it took until 2007 to complete the process so it's more of a "the process is difficult and expensive" than anything else. It's also a separate process to how an illegal immigrant applies.

Nothing can do there, our board mods can only manage this board, it has no impact on the full site account. If you put something on the help board, Chicken or one of the other full TD mods can maybe do something with it, don’t know.

Well I support him getting citizenship but why is it bullshite? Takes time and he’s had a long time. Doesn’t take 25 years to get citizenship. So there is more to the story than we know so maybe he can get it worked out.

Key question is who is "they", and you need to combine it with his wife's position. She is either doing classified work for the US, or for another (likely friendly/allied) country. Either way, he can't talk about it. "They" could well be whoever has security oversight for his wife's employer. Of course "they" could also be CCP. Could even be international finance work, or the wife could be C-level. C-level employees for many big companies are not allowed to have social media, nor are their spouses.
In short, don't jump to conclusions. He could also just be messing with us.
