In Bud’s last three starts on the PGA Tour he has finished T6, T4 and T5. He’s won $1,687,545 on the season and is ranked 34th in the FedEx Cup.

For those unaware, he was in a serious car accident in 2018 and played in only three tournaments in five years after multiple surgeries, lingering injuries and setbacks.

His story is a cautionary tale about drunk driving, as the driver of the car - a surgeon friend - was driving under the influence at .115 BAC.

Good to see him doing well.

0.155, which is much worse.

Thanks, I never know how to type that properly. What we do know is dude was shitfaced and had no business behind the wheel. I hope lessons were learned by all.

I like the smoothness of his iron swing. He plays it low and controls the spin well.

Moar, I just came back to this post and realized I screwed up the BAC number from the story. Eyes and brain getting old.

Was the Tommy Nichols mentioned in the article from Tuscaloosa?

It's all good. Not that 0.115 wasn't enough to think poorly of the driver, but tacking on another 35% really drives the point home. I won't pretend at damn near 45 i still have the default font size on my phone
