Either you didnt watch the game or you know nothing about the game.
He couldnt score against us and he couldnt guard anyone. He was a liability on defense. If you are the coach and you have a player that is getting beat on defense and cant score are you leaving him out there? You would dumber than a box of rocks if you did. St Johns would have had 10+ losses if they played in the SEC this year. Every SEC in the tournament would have beat them except maybe texass

I didn't read the full breakdown earlier, but yeah he definitely should have received votes. I wouldn't have even been surprised/upset if he won it.

If anything Pearl and Golden should have tied for what they did in the best conference we have ever seen.

Auburn had an unbelievable non-conf schedule, so I am good with Pearl winning. I just don't see how Golden is ever going to have a better season with a less heralded team. It is a hard award to win because there are usually several really good choices. As you can see from the list. All of these coaches did a fantastic job this season.

IMO, the coach of the year for every sport is the one who wins the national championship, rather than the feel good story of the year, or "most improved team" of the year.
Because that is the coach that achieved the ultimate goal of the season.
Hell, look at just this one here. They named it a tie, when 1 coach clearly achieved way more than the other. In what way are they tied outside stupid fluff bullshite? It's not, because it's stupid.
