It sucks to lose like that. But why act like an Elite 8 isn’t great for Bama?

We had a great season. Why is everyone acting like we got bounced by chumps? Duke is a great team. A final 4 followed by an Elite 8 is a massive win for Alabama Basketball. Auburn fans I get making fun of us (though their new blue blood schtick is BS), but why the hell is anyone else talking shite?

Who the hell thinks we’re God’s gift to basketball? It seems y’all impute our football stereotypes to our basketball and that’s just not the case.
ETA: By semi final do you mean Final 4? Because we literally did that last year.

Has a little bit to do with Alabama being ranked #2 pre season and picked to win the SEC. But they did have a great season. Nothing to be ashamed of.
